About The Role
In your role as an Activities Co‑ordinator at HC‑One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. This position is for 16 hours per week.
Responsibilities will include:
* Planning and implementing activities that delight residents in Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes.
* Assisting the Home Manager with essential fundraising events.
* Encouraging residents to socialise more effectively, developing new activity ideas based on their hobbies, and involving the care home team to foster a kind environment.
* Recognising signs of abuse, harm or neglect and taking appropriate action, including safeguarding training and escalation procedures.
Qualifications
* Background working with vulnerable individuals, ideally developing activity programmes.
* Excellent planning, organisational and IT skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
* Positive and kind communication style when interacting with residents and co‑workers.
* Ability to seek advice and report concerns; ready to attend safeguarding training.
