This is a substantial household requiring a confident, organised, and service-driven professional who can ensure the smooth running of the property throughout the year. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the operational management of the home, leading a large team of staff and ensuring that service, presentation, and efficiency remain consistently at a five-star standard. You will oversee household spending, reporting, procurement, and maintenance coordination, working closely with the wider team and the family office to maintain seamless communication and a well-structured workflow. This role requires someone who is both strategically minded and comfortable taking a hands-on approach when necessary. You will be expected to work autonomously, uphold exceptionally high standards, and lead with confidence. The household is dynamic and fast-paced, so the ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly, and remain composed under pressure is essential. This is a live-out role best suited to someone already based in London, and the family are seeking a House Manager with extensive experience and strong longevity in similarly complex operations. DUTIES TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO: • Conduct daily walk-throughs of the residence and report any issues to the maintenance team • Lead, train, and support a team of 20 staff, ensuring exceptional service and presentation standards • Manage staff rotas, schedules, and coverage plans across daily, weekly, and monthly periods • Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and household expenditure controls • Assist with the ongoing recruitment and onboarding of staff • Maintain accurate household records, including property maintenance and purchasing logs for the family office • Coordinate closely with administrative teams to support household and family requirements • Handle ad hoc administrative and operational tasks as needed ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: • Minimum 10 years’ experience as a House Manager within UHNW households • Excellent English, written and spoken • Professional, polished, and approachable manner • Highly organised, tech-savvy, and able to manage a large team • Able to take full ownership of operations and make informed decisions independently • Loyal, discreet, and committed to long-term service • Proactive and solutions-focused, with outstanding attention to detail • Strong record of long tenure in previous roles • Exceptional checkable references
