What you will do
* Report to the team partner and work in a team dedicated to the defence of claims arising from road traffic accidents.
* Handle a varied caseload of litigated cases and occasional pre‑litigation claims with appropriate supervision.
* Provide a timely, professional and high‑quality service to clients in the management of high‑volume litigated motor cases, in strict adherence to Service Level Agreements.
* Act as a point of contact for clients in relation to Scottish claims.
* Manage all financial aspects of your caseload, including billing, WIP and debt management, and ensure accurate and timely management reporting.
* Handle confidential information in line with the firm’s data security protocols.
* Engage in business development activities on behalf of the Motor team, such as attending marketing events and client training.
* Supervise and nurture junior fee earners.
Who you are

* Experience of working within a pressurised, deadline‑driven environment and the ability to prioritise work effectively.
* Outstanding eye for detail.
* Confident communicator and negotiator.
* Excellent relationship and client‑handling skills.

* Alignment with the Firm’s Cultural Principles (Clear, Creative, Determined and Supportive).
* Responsibility for financial management of your caseload, including billing, WIP and debt management, and accurate reporting.
What’s in it for you
* High levels of flexibility and a great work‑life balance.
* A well‑rounded remuneration package, including private medical insurance, income protection insurance and discounted gym membership among many other benefits.
