What you'll be doing Working two 4hr shifts as a Laundry Assistant and one full day in Housekeeping, supporting the maintenance of a clean, safe, and comfortable care home environment. Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the care home in line with company policies and procedures. Carry out cleaning duties following infection prevention and hygiene standards. Clean and maintain floors, furniture, fixtures, fittings, and sanitary areas to a high standard. Safely collect and dispose of waste in accordance with procedures. Support residents’ comfort and well-being by maintaining a welcoming environment. Provide effective laundry services, ensuring personal items are safely handled, labelled, cleaned, and returned correctly. Follow all health and safety, infection control, and fire safety requirements. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure cleanliness and laundry services are consistently maintained.
