We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and motivated Administrator to support the public health team in Argyll and Bute.
You will be required to provide a comprehensive level of administrative support to the team, which will include communication with both internal departments and external agencies.
In addition to excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you must have a wide range of administration/clerical experience including accurate and efficient minute taking skills and have the ability to work to a high standard both as part of a team and on your own initiative. You must possess excellent planning and organisational skills, be flexible in your approach and have the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
You must be computer literate and familiar with Microsoft applications and databases. You will be required, on occasions, to deal with sensitive information such as mental health data and suicide prevention information and therefore the post holder will require having awareness of the Data Protection Act and a high degree of professional integrity.
The post holder will also support the team in delivery of Health Improvement activities within Argyll and Bute e.g. Mental health and suicide prevention training
Candidates should possess a relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) or be able to demonstrate experience in providing high quality administrative support services in a busy office environment.
