* Rotherham Hospital is currently seeking reliable and hardworking Domestic Cleaners to join our Facilities team.
* This vital role supports patient care and safety by ensuring high standards of cleanliness across infection control areas of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine and specialist cleaning duties in designated infection control areas
* Use appropriate cleaning materials and equipment safely and effectively
* Work safely at height using step ladders, following health and safety guidelines
* Maintain strict hygiene protocols to prevent cross-contamination
* Accurately complete cleaning checklists and records
About You
The successful candidate will:
* Be able to work confidently and safely in infection control environments
* Be physically able to perform cleaning duties, including using step ladders
* Follow strict hygiene and infection prevention guidelines
* Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and safety
Requirements
* Previous cleaning experience is highly desirable – full training will be provided
* Must be able to work in infection-controlled settings and use step ladders as part of the role
