Position Overview:
They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ventilation Project Manager to join their dynamic team. As a Ventilation Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of ventilation projects from inception to completion. Working within a small company, you will need to get involved in all aspects of the projects, requiring excellent troubleshooting and customer-facing skills. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead end-to-end project management of ventilation system installations, upgrades, and retrofits.
2. Collaborate with clients, engineers, contractors, and internal teams to define project requirements and objectives.
3. Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, budget, and timelines.
4. Allocate resources effectively, monitor project progress, and manage changes in scope.
5. Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
6. Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction and installation activities, ensuring quality and safety.
7. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and provide timely resolutions.
8. Prepare and present project reports, including financial analysis and performance metrics.
9. Foster strong relationships with clients by addressing their concerns and ensuring their needs are met.
Qualifications:
1. Educational background in Mechanical Engineering/Electrical, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. Proven experience within the ventilation, HVAC, or construction industry.
3. Strong understanding of ventilation systems, components, and installation processes.
4. Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
5. Proficiency in project management.
6. Ability to analyse and solve problems, adapt to changing situations, and make informed decisions.
