Join Cambian as a Support Worker or Team Leader

The working day can be unpredictable, involving organizing activities in the morning and providing 1:1 support in the afternoon.

* Rate of Pay: £13.71-14.07 per hour, dependent on experience, with a £30.00 additional sleep-in rate

Requirements:
* Full UK driving licence
* Desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
* 12 months experience in a Residential setting is highly desirable but applications from those starting their journey are encouraged
* DBS and reference checks in line with government regulations and safer recruitment practices
Due to the nature of these checks, the recruitment process may be extended.
Duties include:
* Providing high-quality care for our children
* Offering guidance, support, and structure in their daily lives
* Supporting engagement with education
* Promoting healthy lifestyles and positive choices
* Accessing clinically-led training to improve skills and practice
* Household duties
* Record keeping and report writing
* Organizing days out (social events, shopping, cinema, swimming)
* Attending contacts, visits, key work meetings, and therapy sessions
* Transporting young people to access various provisions
Cambian is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children in our care. All applicants must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide at least two references covering the past two years. Applicants must also provide employment history, including education and positions working with children and vulnerable groups.
