Your role at Husqvarna UK
Support and continuously improve the end to end customer returns and re-work process, ensuring an efficient, cost-effective, and customer focused operation. The role contributes to the organization by maximizing product value recovery, reducing scrappage and damage related costs, and improving overall stock quality. Through data driven root cause analysis and cross functional collaboration, the role drives operational improvements that enhance customer experience and business performance. By embedding lean principles and supporting logistics improvement initiatives, the role helps create more efficient, sustainable warehouse and return processes.
This role will be primarily based at our Doncaster site, with Hybrid working arrangements.
Summary of Responsibilities
* Support the end to end customer returns process, driving improvements in efficiency, customer service, and ease of doing business with Husqvarna.
* Identify gaps and inefficiencies within returns, re-work, and damage processes by conducting structured root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
* Manage the re-work, damage, and scrappage process for all returned products, ensuring optimal recovery of product value.
* Assess returned products to determine suitability for re-work and return to "good" stock, enabling full resale value where possible.
* Analyze and report on costs associated with damage, re-work, and scrappage, using data insights to support continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction plans.
* Collaborate with the Sales team to identify and execute sell-off opportunities for non-conforming stock, minimizing financial loss.
* Support the Warehouse & Logistics Controller in reducing site damages through 3PL reviews, audits, and operational improvements.
* Contribute to operational projects and continuous improvement initiatives, embedding lean principles and maintaining 5S standards across relevant processes.
Experience and Qualifications
* Highly enthusiastic and self-motivated, with a strong drive to achieve results and deliver continuous improvement.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across functions.
* A collaborative team player who is also capable of working independently, demonstrating a proactive and self-starting approach.
* Commercially astute and numerate, with a strong understanding of pricing, costs, and profitability.
* Experience working with ERP systems is desirable.
* Demonstrates initiative and commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
* Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
* Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Holds a full UK driving license.
