Salary: Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 an hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week for new colleagues. If you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too.
Availability windows are shown in the table in the original posting. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times and provide 3 weeks notice of shifts. We are flexible and welcome applicants whose availability closely matches the advertised times.

Responsibilities
* Knowing your customers and serving them with passion and pride; giving great natural service.
* Being passionate and knowledgeable about the products and services within the store.
* Working across the store in our service, picking and replenishment areas where required.
* Applying training to ensure safety, effectiveness and excellent customer service.
* Making decisions that meet customer needs and delivering in-store routines at the right time.
* Taking part in seasonal, community and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere.
* Understanding store performance and contributing to drive service, sales, reduce waste and deliver profit.
* Handling products with care to maintain quality and ensure they reach customers in good condition.
* Being yourself, living Tesco values, and following policies.
* Occasionally accepting deliveries into the store.
