KCR Solutions are delighted to be recruiting a Management Accountant for an excellent client in Cramlington. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering accurate monthly reporting, insightful analysis, and strong financial support across a growing SME. This hands-on role manages the month-end process, budgeting and forecasting cycles, cash flow, and financial controls, while partnering with operational teams to drive performance and support commercial decision-making. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow Complete month-end close activities: accruals, prepayments, journals, reconciliations Produce annual budgets and regular forecasts, with variance analysis and commentary Partner with non-finance teams to support pricing, margins, cost control, and business cases Monitor cash flow and support working capital management (debtors, creditors, stock) Maintain and improve accounting systems, reporting processes, and data accuracy Support VAT returns, statutory submissions, year-end accounts, and external audit Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards, HMRC, and Companies House requirements The role will suit someone actively studying towards CIMA, ACA or ACCA with a good working knowledge of Excel and accounting systems.
