Protocol Education – SEN Teaching Assistants Wanted in East London!

Salary: £85 – £100 per day (depending on experience and responsibilities)
Protocol Education is partnering with a selection of primary Schools across East London to recruit skilled and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants for the new academic year. We are looking for individuals with experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), such as autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
These positions may involve one-to-one support, small group interventions, or general classroom assistance. Tasks can include adapting learning activities, providing encouragement and reassurance, assisting with personal care (if needed), and helping to maintain a positive learning environment.
We visit every school we work with so we can share detailed information about the school’s ethos, behaviour policy, and specific needs before you start.
Ideal candidates will have:
1. Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school-based or in a similar setting)
2. Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to learning support
3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
4. A genuine commitment to helping students succeed
