#### RoleEnable Glasgow is a community based charity working with adults with learning disabilities and their carers andfamilies in Glasgow. We are currently recruiting for a full time, Senior Support worker (37.5 hours per week,permanent post) to join our skilled staff team at our Esmond Street Advanced Support Service in the Yorkhillarea of the city. Esmond Street is currently the only service of its kind in the city, providing a high quality24/7 supported living service to 22 adults with learning disabilities who are older and/or have advancedneeds.We are looking for staff members who share ENABLE Glasgow’s values in promoting the rights of individuals withlearning disabilities to live fulfilling and meaningful lives. Experience in a supported living setting, theability to work on own initiative, and a positive, empowering and flexible approach to the support of peoplewith learning disabilities are also essential. The post requires the successful candidate to be involved in thesupervision and development of the staff team; including training, developing systems, mentoring and auditing.It is preferable to hold an appropriate qualification, or to be willing and able to achieve this within anagreed timescale. A clean and current UK Driver’s Licence is preferable but not essential for this role.
