As a Graduate Electrical Engineer, you will be part of a vibrant Streetcare services team within our environment directorate and be at the forefront of lighting up our community, ensuring our public spaces shine bright to keep our residents safe.
You will assist senior engineers and the public lighting department with day-to-day maintenance, fault repairs, and lighting designs while developing your skills and knowledge in Public Lighting. As part of your daily routine, you will shadow and learn from experienced staff. You will attend onsite inspections, create job packs, assist with projects and designs, prepare reports/contracts, and attend relevant training courses and qualifications.
It’s a great opportunity to kickstart your career in a supportive and dynamic environment whilst playing a pivotal role in shaping the lighting infrastructure of our community. You will also be encouraged to take advantage of our internal career development pathways.
About You
* A Degree level Class II Division II or better in a relevant Electrical degree or equivalent.
* Good standard of written and verbal communication.
* Good standard of computer literacy.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
