Communications Specialist - Romford or High Wycombe (Hybrid) Maternity cover 12 months - Flexible working considered
This role is part of a small team of two reporting to the Head of HR and supports our UK commercial & manufacturing business in the delivery of internal communication messages, campaigns and events that keep employees informed, engaged and motivated across all three sites in the UK.
Main responsibilities:
* Proactively work with stakeholders to develop communication plans for projects and initiatives
* Write and adapt communications materials for use across all our channels ensuring cohesive and consistent messaging across all platforms for both our digital and non -digital population (including static and digital notice boards)
* Maintain high standards in all communications and ensure content aligns with company tone, group brand guidelines where applicable and strategic goals and make appropriate recommendations.
About you
* A minimum of four years' experience in a communications role (or an HR role with a strong communications focus), ideally across multiple sites.
* Proven experience in using a variety of communication channels (digital and non-digital), particularly in operational environments including front-line workers without tech access.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
* A collaborative team player, comfortable working with remote colleagues across diverse cultures.
* Confident in engaging with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
* Strong visual sensibility and an eye for design.
Skills/Education
* Excellent written and verbal English communication skills - minimum GCSE level or equivalent.
* Strong organizational skills with experience in planning and executing internal events.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, including SharePoint creation and design.
* Experience with Adobe InDesign required.
* Meticulous attention to detail, even when working under tight deadlines.
* Video production skills are an advantage

Working hours information
* 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm, hybrid
