The Role
As a trusted advisor, you’ll have a direct impact in helping our customers gain the most value from cloud technology. You’ll craft and execute strategies to drive our customers’ adoption and use of AWS services, including products like EC2, S3, DynamoDB & RDS databases, Lambda, CloudFront CDN, IoT, and more. Our Technical Account Managers partner with iconic businesses, from startups to large enterprises, providing advice on architecture, support strategy, project and launch planning, and operational issues.
Responsibilities include:
* Building solutions, providing technical guidance, and advocating for the customer
* Ensuring AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity
* Developing trusting relationships with customers, understanding their business needs and technical challenges
* Driving technical discussions on incidents, trade-offs, and risk management (AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate at least)
* Consulting with partners from developers to C-suite executives
* Collaborating with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services, and Sales Managers
* Proactively identifying opportunities for customers to gain additional value from AWS
* Providing detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, and pre-launch planning
* Solving problems related to workload migration to the cloud
* Uplifting customer capabilities through workshops and sessions

Basic Qualifications:
* Experience in design, implementation, operations, or consulting with distributed applications
* Experience in technical engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in a 24/7 operational support environment
* Experience as a technical lead in enterprise or customer-facing settings
