TEACHER - LEADER OF FOUNDATION LEARNING
Teacher Salary Scale, plus TLR2 £3,590 per annum
Required for January 2026 or as soon as possible
The Governing Body of Glenboi Community Primary School would like to recruit an excellent teacher to take a strategic lead for the Foundation Learning.
This is an exciting and challenging opportunity in which the successful candidate will play a key role in the further development of our wonderful school.
We are looking for someone who:
1. Has a proven track record as a highly effective and innovative teacher who has the potential to become an outstanding practitioner/leader
2. Has high expectations of all pupils and is committed to raising standards
3. Has experience of leading a subject or strategic area within school, understands school improvement processes and is able to demonstrate impact.
4. Will to continue to drive forward the already high standards within the school and support dedicated staff to ensure whole school improvement.
They will:
5. Be a highly effective classroom practitioner, demonstrating creativity and initiative.
6. Be adaptable and resourceful
7. Demonstrate high expectations in children’s learning and behaviour whilst focusing on key nurture principles.
8. Demonstrate a commitment to equality of opportunity and inclusion.
9. Demonstrate the skills and experience necessary to provide effective leadership
10. Actively support and contribute to the school’s positive behaviour policy.
11. An interest in Welsh is essential.
