We are working with a leading Social Housing Contractor who specialise in energy efficiency, decarbonisation & retrofit works to tenanted Social Housing properties across the UK.
As a result of increase in workload and being awarded new contracts, they are looking to recruit a Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis. This will be covering sites across the West Yorkshire and Manchester regions. Type of works will include: Solar Panel Installations, Air Source Heat Pump Installations, EWI, CWI, Windows & Doors. Technical knowledge of Solar/Air Source Heat Pumps will be required.
About the role - Contracts Manager
The successful candidate will have experience in managing external refurbishment projects within Social Housing and ideally, will hold a good knowledge of PAS2030:2019.
Responsibilities
* Manage site personnel, work activities and resources to meet the requirements of individual contracts.
* Regular client liaison, building a positive working relationships with clients and tenants
* Develop a programme, monitor progress and ensure the contracts are delivered on time.
* Ensure contracts comply with Health, Safety and Welfare requirements.
* Manage the identification of site hazards and ensure assessments and risk control methods are implemented.
* Ensure the performance of reporting staff are monitor through regular appraisals and reviews.
* Ensure identified individual development/training needs are met.
* Maintain the trust and support of reporting personnel
* Support individuals who have problems that may affect their performance.
* The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career background, and have a strong background in Social Housing/Energy Efficiency works.
