The role
Salary: £75,000 - 75,000 per year Requirements: We require solid hands-on experience with GCP, with AWS exposure also considered valuable. We require experience with cloud security posture management tools such as Prisma Cloud, Wiz, Google Security Command Center, or similar. We require strong knowledge of cloud network security, including VPCs, security groups, firewalls, and WAFs. We require experience securing Kubernetes workloads and container environments, with GKE experience as a plus. We require experience with infrastructure as code security, including Terraform and CloudFormation, and the ability to identify misconfigurations before production. We require knowledge of compliance frameworks relevant to Fintech, such as PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and SOC 2. We require experience with cloud-native logging and monitoring tools such as Google Cloud Logging, Chronicle, or similar. We require the ability to work collaboratively across engineering teams and embed security without operating in isolation. Responsibilities: We will work closely with our DevOps and Platform teams to embed security across our cloud environment. We will help manage cloud posture, network security, identity and access controls, and other core security areas across our SaaS infrastructure. We will secure our GCP environment as we continue our migration and scale, while maintaining some existing AWS presence. We will identify and remediate security misconfigurations in infrastructure as code before they reach production. We will support the security of Kubernetes and container workloads across our cloud platform. We will contribute to logging, monitoring, and visibility across our cloud estate. We will take ownership of cloud security initiatives and help shape how security is done across the business. Over the last 10 years, we have built our own SaaS product suite and recently migrated to GCP, with some AWS still in use. We are a 300-person company with the structure and security budget to support meaningful work, while still being small enough for one person to make a real difference.
