Description
The Legal Counsel will be:
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts, including supplier, distribution and service agreements
Providing pragmatic, business-focused legal advice to key stakeholders across the organisation
Supporting on ad hoc commercial matters and risk management issues
Assisting with compliance and regulatory considerations relevant to the retail sector
Collaborating closely with senior leadership to support strategic initiatives
Profile
The Legal Counsel should be:
A Legal Counsel or Advisor with experience drafting, negotiating and reviewing range of commercial contracts.
Confident advising stakeholders in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment
Able to balance legal risk with practical business solutions
Ideally experienced in retail, FMCG or consumer-facing sectors (desirable, not essential)
Job Offer
Salary depending on experience, starting at £60,000 plus benefits and hybrid working from office in Cheshire area.
