Are you passionate about helping others learn and improve their English skills? Do you have experience teaching English as a second language? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic ESOL Tutor to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality, interactive ESOL lessons to learners of varying levels
* Assess learners’ needs and provide tailored learning plans
* Foster a supportive and engaging learning environment
* Track progress and provide constructive feedback to learners
* Adapt lessons to meet individual learning styles and abilities
* Support learners in improving their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills
* Location: Reading
* Hours: up to 25 hours per week
* Start date: As soon as possible
* Duration: ongoing until a school placement is found
* Contract Type: Temporary/part-time
* Pay rate: from £25 per hour
Experience, Training and Qualifications of the Tutor:
* QTS, CELTA, DELTA, TESOL
* Demonstrated experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Possess UK classroom teaching experience and experience delivering tailored lesson plans
* Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
* Have experience working with challenging behaviour and disengaged pupils
To be eligible for this role, the potential Tutor must:
* Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
* Provide two professional child-related references.
