OH Medical is currently seeking an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a leading Occupational Health Provider in a Full-Time Permanent role. This excitinghybrid role requires 1-2 days per week at theClient site in Bristol.
The Role:
This role offers the ideal chance for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join a multidisciplinary team to provide a full remit Occupational Health Service operating to high clinical standards. Your duties will include:
* Management referrals relating to attendance, fitness for work and other requests for OH advice.
* Supporting with Health Surveillance, Fitness to Work Medicals & interpreting results
* New Entrants Medicals.
* Providing other OH services where required, such as Vaccinations, Travel Health Services, Ergonomic Advice, or Health Promotion
* Providing clinical supervision and support to junior team members, such as OH Technicians
Required Skills:
To be the successful Occupational Health Advisor candidate for this role, you'll be:
* An NMC Registered Nurse
* Qualified to Degree/Diploma level in Occupational Health
* Minimum 2 years of experience in Occupational Health
* Prior experience in Occupational Health with proficiency in the provision of:
o Spirometry
o Audiometry
o General Medicals
o Drug and Alcohol screening
o Case Management
o Fitness for role assessments
* Able to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of best practices and their practical application.
* An excellent communicator with skills, in both verbal and written communication, including proficiency in report writing.
* Highly IT literate with excellent record-keeping skills
* A holder of a full clean driving licence with your own vehicle and able to travel to the customer site.
