A small not-for-profit company based in Edinburgh is looking for a part-time Interim Finance Manager.
Your new role, reporting to the Head of Finance, is a key position leading the finance team and supporting all financial activities. The role will include:
1. Preparation and maintenance of finance processes and controls.
2. Leading year-end preparations and the production of financial statements.
3. Serving as the main point of contact for annual audit queries.
4. Deputising for the Head of Finance as required and managing the operational finance team daily.
5. Providing ad hoc assistance on special projects as requested by the Head of Finance and the senior leadership team.
6. Developing procedures and embedding continuous improvement within the finance team.
What you'll need to succeed
We seek a qualified accountant with post-qualification experience, comfortable managing and leading a small operational finance team. Experience in implementing and managing controls, leading external audits, and proficiency in Excel are essential. Payroll experience would be advantageous.
