A nurturing Manchester primary is seeking a warm, creative Reception Teacher to join the Early Years team on a Part-Time basis from January 2026. The successful Reception Teacher will be asked to attend pre-term planning sessions prior to January 2026, to complete an induction in January 2026, and to take up teaching duties from January 2026 onward. Reception Teacher Responsibilities
The Reception Teacher will: lead daily phonics and language sessions as the Reception Teacher; design and maintain stimulating continuous provision as the Reception Teacher; use observation and assessment to plan next steps as the Reception Teacher; engage families through workshops and support transition into Year 1 as the Reception Teacher. The Reception Teacher will prepare resources before January 2026, attend induction in January 2026 and teach from January 2026 as a Part-Time Reception Teacher.
Reception Teacher Requirements
We are seeking a Reception Teacher with QTS/EYTS or equivalent and demonstrable early years experience. The Reception Teacher must be creative, organised and committed to building strong relationships with children and families. Availability for pre-term planning prior to January 2026, attendance at induction in January 2026, and teaching from January 2026 as a Part-Time Reception Teacher is essential.
