Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We’re on the lookout for a passionate Drainage and Water Design Team Leader to join our dynamic Design team based in Speke / Wymondham. Your Role and Responsibilities
As our Drainage and Water Design Team Leader, you will:
* Lead a talented team in delivering high-quality, compliant, and sustainable drainage and water design solutions.
* Act as the technical and delivery lead for assigned work packages, ensuring designs meet programme, budget, and risk commitments.
* Collaborate closely with the Design Manager and wider Kier Design and Construction teams to enhance team capability and deliver consistent results.
* Build strong relationships with internal and external clients, ensuring a reliable, value-driven service.
* Introduce and embed standardized delivery processes to improve efficiency and quality.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you have:
* Proven experience leading and developing small, highly technical design teams.
* Strong skills in managing programmes, budgets, and risks across building and development projects.
* Experience in client and stakeholder management, with clear communication and responsiveness.
* A track record of delivering high-quality drainage and flood risk solutions.
* Knowledge of SUDS, Planning Policy, Building Regulations, and flood risk strategy approvals.
* A full driving license and willingness to travel as required.
Working Conditions
Location: Speke / Wymondham (Remote working available with occasional office travel required)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Some flexibility on hours available)
