Role:
Our client is looking for an immediate, temporary, Financial Accountant to assist them for 3 months. You will be responsible for following duties:
* Deliver monthly and quarterly group consolidations across four entities in Planful, including data validation, consolidation adjustments, and production of management reports.
* Prepare and process intercompany reconciliations and eliminations, resolving discrepancies with local entity finance teams.
* Draft and maintain group and subsidiary financial statements in Caseware, ensuring compliance with IFRS/local GAAP and internal policies.
* Compile and review debt covenant calculations for two lending arrangements, monitoring compliance and preparing supporting schedules.
* Manage month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including journals, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and commentary.
* Support and coordinate year-end close and external audit, preparing working papers, answering auditor queries and completing group reporting deliverable.
* Maintain detailed process documentation and internal control notes, identifying opportunities to streamline and strengthen reporting processes.
* Partner with finance staff across the group to resolve reporting issues, improve data accuracy and contribute to continuous process improvements.
