INTERNAL ONLY WHAT IS ON OFFER Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Chemist to join our team in Dundonald,UK. You will be responsible for carrying out analytical methods and standard operating practices without supervision and after training to a high degree of precision and accuracy, ensuring that an effective and high quality analytical service is provided to meet reporting deadlines on the various types of samples / commodities submitted to the laboratory for analytical evaluation. You will have initial training as a lab technician to ensure a full understanding of the routine methodologies with subsequent development into a Chemist role through in-house training. To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following: REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE Required Competencies Ability to plan and implement workload General problem solving Highly organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong quality focus with a strive for excellence Good numeracy skills IT skills – Microsoft and Google applications Required Qualifications HNC or HND in Science related subject or equivalent as a minimum.
