The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has opened for a Supplier Development Engineer to join a global procurement team supporting some of the company’s largest products.
You’ll collaborate with international teams across the US, Mexico, India and China, helping ensure the supplier network delivers high-quality materials and components to support global customers.
This is a key role focused on supplier quality, capability improvement, and material compliance, ensuring suppliers consistently meet manufacturing and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
* Assess supplier quality and ensure incoming materials meet manufacturing specifications and regulatory standards
* Conduct supplier assessments, inspections, and quality testing on incoming supplies
* Monitor supplier performance and analyse defect rates, identifying improvement opportunities
* Support suppliers in improving performance through process improvements and quality plans
* Perform supplier audits to assess manufacturing environments and quality systems
* Collaborate with procurement and engineering teams to strengthen supplier capability and quality standards
Requirements:
* Degree (or equivalent experience) in Engineering or related discipline
* Experience in industrial manufacturing environments
