Optometrist – Full Time

Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum
The Role
The Medical People are recruiting on behalf of a client. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Optometrist to join a highly experienced clinical team in a modern Milton Keynes clinic. You will work alongside ophthalmologists and other eye care professionals, contributing to the delivery of high-quality clinical services across a diverse patient base.
This role offers a varied clinical workload, including:
* Pre- and post-operative consultations for refractive and cataract surgery patients
* Providing clinical support to ophthalmologists
* Conducting essential and advanced eye examinations

Training & Development

Requirements
Requirements
* Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council (GOC)
* Ability to provide high-quality clinical care and patient-focused service
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Interest in or willingness to develop within refractive and cataract services
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical team
* Commitment to continuous professional development
Desirable (but not essential):
* Independent Prescribing qualification (or willingness to undertake)
* Previous experience in post-operative care or hospital/clinical settings
* Experience working with advanced diagnostic equipment
