Step Teachers are working with a Secondary School in Suffolk to find a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a thriving department on an ongoing temporary basis beginning in January 2026, covering the Maternity leave for an existing member of staff.

Duties as a Maths Teacher:
* Deliver engaging and challenging maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
* Plan and assess effectively to ensure all pupils make strong progress.
* Support the development of numeracy across the curriculum.
* Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
* Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities.
Ideal Maths Teacher:
* A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS or equivalent).
* Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills as a Maths Teacher.
