We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior HR Advisor to join our Employee Relations team in HR, reporting to the HR Business Partner. You will play a critical role providing general employee relations guidance to regional portfolios consisting of Managing Directors, Operations Directors and Managers and Service Managers. Managing a small team of HR Advisors, you'll be responsible for the team providing casework support to a wide range of managers and colleagues ensuring decisions reached are sound and risks are mitigated where possible. You'll deal with a variety of employee relations issues, guiding, coaching and assisting managers and colleagues through their queries around attendance management, grievances, disciplinaries, probation, poor performance etc ensuring fair, consistent and proactive case management. You will manage complex casework providing managers any additional support by attending hearing and meetings as appropriate. You will also assist in the progress of ACAS conciliations and Employment Tribunal claims where required, support change management processes such as TUPE transfers in and out of the business and / or restructures and assist the HR Business Partner in compiling key management information reports to present at regional operational management meetings, attending these meetings where needed. In a truly operational role, you will be hands on with a strong emphasis around Employee Relations. You will need to have demonstrated that you can deal with volume and complex ER case work. Whilst this opportunity is extremely hands on you must also be comfortable managing your own administration. You must be an excellent communicator who is able to work well as part of a team, taking direction from senior colleagues whilst having the ability to work autonomously when needed. The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: Proven experience in all aspects of employee relation and caseworks - ideally gained in the Care sector. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Experience in managing a team. An ability to influence business activity and interact with stakeholders. Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail Able to multi task, plan and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines. Highly IT literate with excellent Word and Excel skills Proactive in problem solving. Able to build strong working relationships in and outside of the HR team. CIPD qualified/HR equivalent qualification. Extensive knowledge and practical experience of HR procedures, processes, and practices.
