Adept Resourcing group are proud to be working alongside a busy manufacturing company based in Rotherham. Together we are searching for a skilled and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team in Goldthorpe, Rotherham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive individual with experience in both purchase ledger and credit control.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage the purchase ledger process, ensuring invoices are correctly entered into the system and paid in a timely manner.
2. Reconcile supplier accounts, addressing any discrepancies in a professional and efficient manner.
3. Oversee credit control, chasing overdue payments and maintaining effective communication with clients to ensure smooth financial operations.
4. Prepare and process payment runs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
5. Assist in month-end processes and provide reports as required.
6. Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve any purchase ledger or credit-related issues.
Key Requirements:
1. Proven experience in purchase ledger and credit control.
2. Strong knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
3. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
4. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
5. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
