Geoenvironmental Engineer - Aberdeen

An established and growing environmental and geotechnical consultancy is looking to recruit a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join their Aberdeen team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of contaminated land, site investigation and remediation projects across Scotland and the wider UK.
You'll be part of a supportive technical team, with exposure to projects from initial site walkovers through to detailed reporting and remediation support. The role offers a strong mix of office-based work and site experience, alongside clear opportunities for professional development.
The role will involve:
Phase 1 desk studies and site walkovers
Phase 2 intrusive ground investigations
Soil, groundwater and gas sampling
Factual and interpretative reporting
Liaising with clients, contractors and regulators
Supporting remediation and validation worksTo be considered, you will have:
A degree in Geoenvironmental Science, Geology, Environmental Science or similar
Experience working in a geoenvironmental or contaminated land role
Understanding of UK contaminated land guidance and ground investigation practices
Strong report writing and communication skills
A full UK driving licence
Must live within a commutable distance from Aberdeen officeWhat's on offer:
