Offer description

We're looking for a Night Recovery Worker to join our 24/7 supported accommodation service based in Enfield. You will work in a vibrant care and rehabilitation service, offering 21 beds to adults with complex mental health needs. You will join a team which consists of a Service Manager, Deputy Service Manager, a day team of 10, and a night team of 4. You will be a present member of the team on the night shift, with a minimum of 2 people working per shift. We are here to promote independence and give our residents the tools needed to fulfil their lives in the community independently.


Responsibilities

* Provide tailored support to residents/participants to help them achieve their personal goals and outcomes.
* Deliver all required aspects of the service efficiently and consistently. This includes welfare checks, support sessions, safeguarding monitoring, risk assessments, and involvement in training and development.
* Help design, create, and be part of service led activities which could include games nights, movie nights, cooking, and other activities to bring residents together and promote independence and relationship building.
* Provide support with encouraging residents to take their required medication as required.
* Ensure service responsibilities and requirements are carried out effectively.
* Initiate appropriate interventions to prevent crisis or other risks.
* Recognise signs of deteriorating mental health, physical health, or other health implications and escalates as required following our procedures.


Qualifications

* Ability to stay motivated even during quieter hours, to build rapport and trust with our residents and fulfil the requirements of the service.
* Understanding of the needs of those who have various complex needs including mental health.
* Ability to use IT systems to record case notes, email relevant people, and use other software required within the role.
* Ability and willingness to show flexibility of working patterns, responding to the needs of the communal service and residents.
* Understanding of the housing and social needs of people with multiple and complex needs.
