Join to apply for the Senior Planning Manager role at Mace.
The project is a defence-related major infrastructure/construction project in the UK, with a value between £100m - £150m. Mace will be the client’s representative, monitoring, guiding and reporting on the principal contractor for the project. The role requires BPSS and SC security clearance and working from the client’s site three days per week in Hanover, Hampshire.

Responsibilities
* You will advocate Mace’s value of safety first and be accountable for leading and maintaining exceptional safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability and project compliance standards.
* You will possess expertise in local health and safety rules and regulations relevant to the project portfolio.
* You will champion a diverse and inclusive working environment and support the wellbeing of the people you manage.
* Manage the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with the overall vision and objectives.
* Support the long-term planning performance for specified engines/sectors/hubs and contribute to broader company goals.
* Support the planning function to ensure projects and tenders are effectively planned, scheduled, and monitored.
* Embed in project teams and work with D&B contractors to develop their detailed project schedule.
* Provide oversight, governance, and assurance of D&B contractor schedules and ensure NEC4 compliance.
* Ensure D&B contractor schedules include relevant DEO processes and procedures and are updated on external project interfaces.
* Review and provide feedback/approval of regular D&B contractor schedule updates and compensation events/claims.
* Manage multiple projects dependent upon size and location; interface with project teams, PMO and portfolio scheduling to update portfolio-level schedules.

You’ll Need To Have
* Ability to gain UK security clearance - 5 years uninterrupted career in the UK.
* Construction scheduler with P6 Primavera experience.
* NEC4 experience.
You’ll Also Have
* Membership of professional bodies (APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA or equivalent) or demonstrable professional development.
* Extensive experience in successful planning of projects and programmes in the defence sector.
* Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise and experience managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
