A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support a high‑performing disputes practice, working closely with senior lawyers on pitching, campaigns, and client development.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded BD professional who enjoys ownership, visibility, and working in a fast‑paced legal environment.
Key responsibilities
* Lead and manage pitch and proposal activity, including complex and multi‑jurisdictional RFPs
* Develop and deliver business development campaigns aligned to practice and sector priorities
* Plan and support client events, seminars, and webinars, including ROI tracking
* Support client and sector targeting, key account activity, and relationship development
* Conduct market and competitor research to identify growth opportunities
* Maintain and improve BD infrastructure, including CRM systems and credentials databases
* Manage and coordinate legal directory and award submissions
* Work closely with partners and senior stakeholders to drive profile and revenue growth
About you
* Proven BD experience within a law firm or professional services environment
* Strong pitching expertise with excellent written and commercial skills
* Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
* Confident working with senior stakeholders and influencing at partner level
* Experienced with CRM systems, email marketing tools, and directories processes
