Job Description
What You’ll Be Doing:
Join McDonald’s UK & Ireland Legal Team as a Legal Assistant, supporting the Real Estate Legal Team in a fast-paced, friendly environment. This is an excellent opportunity to work in-house alongside experienced real estate lawyers, contributing to property transactions and legal operations.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
* Producing, formatting, and finalising legal documents and reports
* Managing engrossments and preparing documents for signature
* Conducting Land Registry and property-related searches
* Liaising with internal Development teams
* Assisting with property transaction procedures including exchange and completion
* Handling administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and photocopying
* Managing electronic filing of transaction documents
What You’ll Need:
* Experience working in a legal environment, with a focus on real estate
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, and familiarity with PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
* Strong document formatting, editing, and proofreading skills
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* A proactive, collaborative attitude with a "can-do" approach
* Strong communication skills and an interest in real estate
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
