Job brief
We are looking for an experienced Payroll / Accounts Clerk to join our accounts team and take on a variety of tasks including assisting with the exciting implementation of a new payroll system. Typical duties include entering payroll information, calculating wages and making payments.
Responsibilities
The main responsibilities will be payroll but other accounts procedures may be required as when requested.
* Managing payroll for the group
* Ensuring all payroll records are up to date and accurate
* Collect and verify payroll information from the management team across the group for all employees
* Process information into our payroll software
* Ensure pension payments are made on a timely basis in line with the Pension Scheme rules
* Action any payroll questions and queries
* Send payroll information to the senior management team
* Completing year-end processes and meeting strict deadlines set by HMRC
Requirements
* Experience in a payroll position
* Familiarity with general accounting principles
* Experience in data collection, entry and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality
* Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and regulations
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Reliable and trustworthy
