Xstrahl is a leading designer and manufacturer of Superficial Orthovoltage Medical X-ray Systems used in the treatment of cancers and dermatological disorders, as well as a pioneer in the development of advanced X-ray systems for pre-clinical radiation biology research.
Xstrahl are looking to hire for a Production Controller within the Production department.
The Production Controller at Xstrahl, will play a vital role in transforming lives through advanced medical technology. Reporting to the Global Product Realization Manager, the Production Controller will ensure that our production team operates seamlessly, delivering innovative Superficial Orthovoltage Medical X-ray Systems that combat cancer and dermatological disorders. Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* To work within the procedures as laid down in the Company’s Quality Management System
* Assist in production activity control to meet business and financial objectives
* Assist the Global Product Realization Manager in controlling production costs while maintaining the quality standards
* Planning and communicating production requirements to the Production Manager
* Plan and monitor material movement in production cycles to ensure continuous operations
* Monitoring production and reporting any issues or potential delays to the Global Product Realization Manager
* Creating and completing production orders and picklists within the SAP MRP system
* Communicate production updates to the Global Product Realization Manager/Production Manager on a regular basis
* Oversee and assist the Warehouse Controller in their daily duties
* Overseeing quarterly stock takes carried out by the Warehouse Controller
* Any other reasonable task required by the Company
* Compiling device history record files
Required Skills and Education:
* Previous experience working within a medical devices field
* Ability to create and maintain good working relationships with colleagues
* Good IT skills including knowledge of SAP and Excel spreadsheets preferred but not essential
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work on own initiative and also as a team player
* Strong emphasis on accuracy and detail
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Ability to work under pressure
* Ability to manage priorities
Annual Salary: Starting from £30,000 per annum
