Job Title: Team Manager Care Leavers
Location: Dudley (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: £44 per hour
Job Description:
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Team Manager to join its client at Dudley’s Care Leavers Service.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will
1. Manage a team of Personal Advisors.
2. Demonstrate experience as a Team Manager within Children in Care (CIC) or Care Leavers services, with a preference for long-term assignments over multiple short-term contracts.
3. Support children transitioning to independence, applying creative approaches to pathway planning and facilitating referrals to Adult Social Services or other relevant services for children with physical or learning difficulties.
4. Apply strong best practice knowledge at Team Manager level, maintaining a focused and motivated approach to delivering quality care and leadership to young people in Dudley.
5. Provide expertise in signposting and supporting young people into employment or education, including familiarity with services such as the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
6. Engage with potential employers and organize drop-in sessions for young people.
7. Support children transitioning into adulthood under challenging circumstances (e.g., homelessness) and assist older children in achieving independence.

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
10. Social Work England registration
11. Eligible to work in the UK
12. Hold a full UK driving licence
13. Post-qualified experience
14. Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
