We are currently recruiting an External Reporting Audit & systems Lead to join our team on a hybrid basis.
You'll make an impact by:
As an External Reporting Audit & systems Lead, you will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of the external audit, liaising between the business and auditors to oversee and manage the end-to-end audit engagement, ensuring that audit deliverables are complete and accurate.
This role is also responsible for managing submissions into and out of the finance systems for quarterly and annual statutory and regulatory reporting, ensuring data completeness and timely submission of data, and managing system data validation to support the integrity of the UK&I’s IFRS and Solvency UK / Solvency II reported data.
This role is responsible for leading the maintenance and development of the finance systems for the External Reporting team.
Your skills and experience
1. Qualified accountant with relevant post qualification experience.
2. Considerable organisational skills and ability to manage large data sets and workflows.
3. Proven track record of leading effective and efficient financial reporting processes.
4. Strong written and verbal communication / presentation skills.
5. Effective and confident stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
6. Performance and customer focus, with strong abilities to coordinate, direct and motivate across teams.
