Digital Engineer – GE Vernova

Position Overview
As a Digital Engineer you will lead the engineering implementation of digital applications across green‑field and brown‑field projects. You will be accountable for deploying digital solutions, enhancing Asset Performance Management (APM) and Remote Monitoring & Diagnostic (RM&D) systems, and ensuring seamless operations from day one.
Key Responsibilities
* Integrate APM solutions in every project, ensuring compatibility and optimisation of all specified equipment.
* Configure APM and RM&D solutions, select parameters, define templates, deploy diagnostic algorithms, and generate critical reports.
* Identify and implement strategies to elevate the reliability and stability of the APM platform.
* Serve as the go‑to expert for all APM and RM&D queries, providing technical support to internal teams.
* Support Service teams when troubleshooting digital solutions or fixing customer issues.
* Collaborate with sales teams to offer technical input on bids for system upgrades and new implementations.
* Drive continuous improvement in products, processes, and documentation to enhance user experience and validation support.
* Partner with product development teams to refine and advance APM algorithms for superior system performance.
* Leverage digital technologies to improve product quality and expedite root‑cause analyses.
* Configure GE Vernova’s Visor and Data Historian solutions within the system architecture, ensuring appropriate data logger configuration for prognostic services and reactive support.
* Work with customer IT teams to maintain a stable and active connection to the GE Vernova cloud throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering or a related field, complemented by significant industry experience.
* Proven track record in designing and installing industrial control systems and analytics platforms.
* Proficiency with digital and remote monitoring applications.
* Strong grasp of engineering principles, tools, and cutting‑edge technologies.
* Exceptional organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
* Familiarity with cybersecurity protocols and industrial network/communications configurations.
