You’ll benefit from: ● High-quality, school-based training and a postgraduate training contract at Windmill Primary School. ● Locally delivered training sessions ● Mentorship from experienced teachers committed to your development You’ll also gain practical, hands-on experience across your chosen age range. ________________________________________ Qualifications Required To be eligible to apply, you’ll need: ● School experience of supporting and teaching primary-aged children as an HTLA or unqualified teacher. ● A UK bachelor's degree (2:2 or above, although some 3rd class degrees may be considered) ● GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 (C) or above (plus Science for primary) ● Right to work and study in the UK, with 3 years of residency in the UK/EEA, in order to receive the Apprenticeship Levy funding to pay for your course fees. Postgraduate Apprenticeship Route ● If successful in the post-interview process, the employing school would pay the trainee the first pay point on the unqualified teacher scale. ● The successful apprentice would be issued an employment contract as a PGTA for the academic year, subject to a successful interview and meeting all the conditions of the offer. ● GLF’s Trust Apprenticeship Levy Fund would pay the £9,000 training fee for the teacher training programme.
