Salary: £168.89 - £261.78 (Dependent on QTS/Experience)

We are seeking a high-impact Intervention Teacher to join our specialist Alternative Provision in Burnley. This role is designed for a practitioner who thrives on seeing "lightbulb moments" in students who have struggled in mainstream education.
We welcome applications from both Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS) and highly experienced Unqualified Teachers or Instructors with a specialist background in literacy, numeracy, or SEMH interventions.
The Role: What You'll Be Doing
* Targeted Delivery: Planning and delivering 1-to-1 or small group interventions in Core Subjects (English/Maths).
* Bespoke Learning: Identifying specific learning gaps and creating tailored "catch-up" programmes for vulnerable learners.
* SEMH Integration: Using trauma-informed strategies to engage pupils who may have school-based anxiety or behavioural challenges.
* Data Tracking: Monitoring pupil progress closely and providing detailed reports to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and parents.
* Alternative Provision Excellence: Working within a non-traditional classroom setting to re-engage students with their education.

* Specialist Knowledge: A deep understanding of how to differentiate work for pupils with diverse learning needs (ASC, ADHD, SEMH).
* Resilience: The ability to remain positive and persistent when working with disengaged young people.
* Qualified/Unqualified: We value classroom presence and results. Whether you have QTS or are a seasoned Unqualified Intervention Teacher, we want to see your passion for Burnley's youth.
* Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with Teaching Assistants and external agencies.
