Their responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and addressing any kitchen-related customer complaints or queries. Key Responsibilities:
* Staff Management:Hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations of kitchen staff.
* Food Safety and Quality:Ensuring food preparation and cooking adhere to health and safety standards, recipes are followed correctly, and food quality and presentation are maintained.
* Inventory Management:Monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and controlling waste.
* Kitchen Operations:Overseeing the daily flow of the kitchen, ensuring efficiency and smooth service.
* Hygiene and Sanitation:Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment and ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
* Teamwork and Communication:Collaborating with other kitchen staff, potentially assisting with menu planning, and effectively communicating with customers regarding food-related issues.
