Marketing strategy, product launches, social media outreach, physical store marketing, email campaigns, website design and adaptation, and working alongside marketing agencies to build innovative and engaging marketing campaigns, are just some of the things you will be working on at Crown Paints. We have promoted internally to leave a Marketing Assistant role ready for someone who has a background in digital/website marketing, ideally in the retail industry. This would be ideal for somebody with a good marketing grounding, who wants to develop quickly given the variety of the role. Here's some of the other things you can look forward to Planning and driving all in store Marketing activity, including new product and supplier launches, 'always on' promotional activity, spike promotional events e.g. Black Friday etc. Lead Marketing for the network of 178 stores, supporting on day to day requests such as local event support, marketing queries and POS requests etc. Working closely with our Crown Decorating Centre (CDC) Commercial & Buying teams to deliver our always on promotional calendar, from timings and planning through to design/POS and fulfilment to customers and stores Running the Marketing asset bank & Point of Sale (POS) catalogue for stores - e.g. updating flyer and POS templates, introducing new templates when required and supervising stock and distribution on printed posters/banners Supporting the CDC Marketing & Digital team on the CDC website - handling the online product portfolio based on buying activity/category management, ensuring the site is set up for promotional activity and managing content on the site such as blogs / help & advice Collaborating closely with relevant agencies to support with content for our monthly always on comms such as weekly customer e-shots and social media content Supporting the wider team on industry events such as the National Painting & Decorating show. What do you need to be successful in this role? Experience in digital and website marketing in a retail business with multiple stores. Social media campaign experience Website and product management The ability to collaborate with others in a creative environment Independence, drive and being adaptable to lend a hand where required.
