Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or installations
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Assist with general cleaning and upkeep of the facility
Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills to interact with staff and address maintenance concerns
- Knowledge of logic controllers and ability to read schematics
- Leadership abilities to supervise maintenance staff, if applicable
- Proficiency in English for effective communication
- Electrical and mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
- Ability to weld is a plus
- Prior experience in a maintenance role is preferred
Wage £130-£150 a day if the role was to be self employed.
Any hours worked after 5:30pm and weekends would be classed as overtime as a rate of £200 per day.
