What You'll Be Doing -
* Lead electronics design for new medical device systems - from concept through to manufacture
* Design analogue & digital circuits, schematics and PCB layouts (using Altium Designer)
* Work on microcontroller and FPGA-based systems across the full product lifecycle
* Develop test protocols, verification procedures, and design test jigs
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Quality, and Project Management
* Drive product enhancements and manage design updates
* Support EMC, electrical safety, and regulatory compliance activities
What We're Looking For -
Essential:
* Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering (or similar)
* 7+ years in electronics design for system development
* Strong analog and digital circuit design expertise
* PCB schematic capture and layout experience (Altium Designer preferred)
* Circuit simulation proficiency (SPICE, PDN, Signal Integrity)
* Excellent communication skills and a proactive, self-driven approach
* Experience creating specifications, test plans, and technical documentation
Highly Desirable:
* Medical device or highly-regulated industry experience (ISO 13485)
* Wireless/RF design (WiFi, Bluetooth, RFID)
* System interconnects (USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, Ethernet)
* EMC/EMI design expertise
* DFMEA and risk management (ISO 14971, IEC 60601)
* FPGA design (VHDL)
* Embedded software knowledge (IEC 62304)
