Role Responsibilities of Behaviour Mentor: Provide one-to-one and small-group mentoring to students with behavioural or emotional needs. Implement tailored behaviour support plans and positive reinforcement strategies. Build trust and rapport with students, promoting self-esteem and motivation. Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to ensure consistent support. Help create a calm, safe, and inclusive learning environment for all learners. What You’ll Bring as Behaviour Mentor: Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEMH or behavioural needs. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build meaningful relationships. Patience, empathy, and a solution-focused mindset. A resilient attitude and commitment to promoting positive behaviour. Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
