Belcan Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced
Lead Finance Business Partner
to lead a high-performing CFO finance function on a long-term contract based in Reading. This is a senior role providing strategic direction across Financial Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Compliance and Finance Systems, while leading and developing a capable finance team in a highly regulated environment.
The successful
Lead Finance Business Partner
will take ownership of all assigned financial activities, ensuring delivery to time, cost and quality standards. You will shape and deliver functional strategy, uphold robust financial governance and controls, and drive continuous improvement and innovation across finance processes. Strong leadership capability is essential, with responsibility for line management, performance management, and the development of Finance Managers and Analysts.
Key responsibilities include the timely provision, analysis and interpretation of financial information, ensuring its integrity and compliance with established processes. You will build and maintain effective senior stakeholder relationships, coordinate and plan team deliverables, and lead by example to create a collaborative, high-performing team culture with a strong focus on safety, security, quality and compliance.
Key skills and experience required:
* Proven leadership and line management experience within a finance function
* Strong background in financial governance, control and compliance
* Experience across Financial Accounting, FP&A and financial reporting
* Ability to develop strategy and drive operational delivery
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Eligibility to hold security clearance (British citizenship required, with long-term UK residency)
